The Carmen Hotel in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, opened in December in the former Alhamabra Hotel. The beachside oasis is situated along the bustling 5th Avenue corridor with Barcelona-based architect Victor Sanz behind the clean, modern design.
Natural elements reflect a Caribbean Sea influence with textures, colours, and shapes all evoking a sense of calm.
